However, it does have small ribosomes. Instead of being contained in chromosomes, DNA is contained in a plasma, or a circular chain of DNA. This bacteria is mobile and can have flagella (long, tail-like structures) and/or cilia (small, hair-like structures). Both structures help with movement. Both types of bacteria produce asexually. This bacteria is said to live in extreme environments. |
